SFP+光模块在OM3多模光纤（多模）上最多支持220m的链路距离。该光模块符合IEEE802.3标准。根据SFF-8472的规定，可通过2线串行接口进行DDM数字诊断。该工业级光模块的工作温度范围为-40°C至85°C，可以在恶劣的工业环境中工作，如电信、数据处理和管理、工业和工厂自动化应用、户外应用、铁路和智能交通系统（ITS）、海洋、石油和天然气、采矿等。
