Description

FT-MBS-1C41-33   is   a   high   performance,   cost effective modules, which is supporting Multi Rate2.125~11.3Gbps,andtransmissiondistanceupto 15km.

The transceiver consists of twsectionsThe BOSAsectionincorporatesaDFBLaseranda PIN-TIA.ThePCBsectionconsistsofaMCUand anICwhichismadeupofLDDriverandpost amplifier.Themoduleishotpluggableintothe20-pin  connector.  The  high-speed  electrical interfaceisbaseonlowvoltagelogic, withnominal100OhmsdifferentialimpedanceandACcoupled in the module.

TheopticaloutputcanbedisabledbyLVTTLlogic high-level  input  of  TX_DIS.  Transmit  Fault (Tx_Fault)isprovidedtoindicatethatthemodule transmitterhasdetectedafaultconditionrelatedto laseroperationorsafety.Lossofsignal(RX_LOS) outputisprovidedtoindicatethelossofaninput opticalsignalofreceiver.AserialEEPROMinthe transceiverallowstheusertoaccesstransceiver monitoringandconfigurationdataviathe2-wire SFPManagementInterface.Thisinterfaceusesa singleaddress,A0h,withamemorymapdivided into  a  lower  and  upper  area.  Basic  digital diagnostic(DD)dataisheldinthelowerarea while specificdataisheldinaseriesoftablesinthehigh memoryarea.
