MiniPOD Evaluation Board For MiniPOD Pluggable Parallel-Fiber-Optics Modules

      The purpose of this evaluation kit is to provide designers with a convenient way to evaluate the electrical and optical performance of Avago 12-channel MiniPOD transmitter and receiver modules. A downloadable user guide is available upon request, which provides full description of the evaluation kit along with basic operating instructions.The AFBR-800EVB evaluation board is to be used in conjunction with the Avago AFBR-81uVxyZ  family of Tx and Rx MiniPOD modules.

Other products available:

AFBR--800RTL:  The MiniPOD dust cover opener tool is created to open the dust cover without damage and is easily used by any operator.
 AFBR-800FTL:  The PRIZM Connector Tool is composed of multiple features for the correct removal or extraction of PRIZ connectors used for Avago MINIPOD and MicroPOD products.
 AFBR-800ETL:  The MiniPOD extraction tool is created from readily available standard tweezers.

The AFBR-7IERxxZ  is a high performance cable for short-range multi-lane data communication and interconnect applications.  It integrates four data lanes in each direction with 40 Gbps aggregate bandwidth. Each lane can operate at 10.3125 Gbps. These cables also support 4x10G InfiniBand QDR applications and are backward compatible to the 4x5G IB DDR and 4x2.5G IB single IB SDR applications.
