F-tone Networks’s QSFP-SR4-Limited 100G QSFP28 transceiver modules are designed for use in 100 Gigabit Ethernet links over multimode fiber. They are compliant with the QSFP28 MSA. They are capable of operating (a) without forward error correction (FEC) provided by the host, (b) with reduced Firecode 74 FEC present per IEEE 802.3by2 25GBASE-SR and Clause 74, or (c) with full RS FEC present per IEEE 802.3bm3 100GBASE-SR4, Clause 91, and CAUI-4. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA and F-tone Networks Application Note "http://www.f-tone.com/qsfp28-reference.html". 北亿纤通（F-tone Networks）100G QSFP28 ER4 Lite DML 40km光纤收发器设计用于100GBASE-ER4 Lite以太网和OTN OTU4链路,单模光纤可达30km（FEC禁用）或40km（FEC启用）（SMF）。
该模块将4个28Gb / s电数据输入通道转换为4通道LAN-WDM光信号,然后将它们复用为单通道,进行112Gb/s光传输。反向接收器侧,模块将112Gb / s光输入解复用为4通道LAN-WDM光信号,然后将其转换为4个电子数据输出通道。作为IEEE 802.3ba中定义的LAN-WDM波长网格的成员,4个LAN-WDM信道的中心波长是1295.56nm,1300.05nm,1304.58nm和1309.14nm。高性能冷却LAN-WDM DFB发射机和高灵敏度APD接收机为100-Gigabit以太网应用提供了卓越的性能,无需FEC即可达30公里的链路,与FEC的链路长达40km。
