Description

Third-generation CXP optical transceiver modules are designed for use in data center, core-routing, and high-performance computing applications up to 135.6 Gigabit per second links over multimode fiber. They are compliant with the InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) CXP Specification, IEEE 802.ba 100GBASE-SR10 and CPPI interfaces supporting 12 parallel, bi-directional data channels at rates from 1G/bs to 11Gb/s per channel. The optical transceiver is RoHS compliant as described in Application Note AN-2038.
The third-generation CXP transceiver supports true Tx&Rx optical power monitoring and Tx&Rx squelch optional feature for high-performance computing applications requiring fast/on-demand bandwidth accessibility. Based on our vertically integrated VCSEL array technology, CXP transceivers are ideally suited for high-bandwidth density applications with reaches up to 300m for Infiniband 12xDDR|QDR|FDR, 100GBASE-SR10 Ethernet, PCIe, and other high-performance, proprietary protocols.
